✔️📘✏️Ground Power Unit can be either a fixed or mobile unit which can be connected to the electrical system of an aircraft.
✔️📘✏️GPU either provides 120V AC or 28V DC power.
✔️📘✏️Ground power units usually consist of a generator powered by a diesel engine but may found in other configurations.
✔️📘✏️Aircraft Generator used for the power supply while the aircraft in on ground would result in great amount of noice and consumption of aircraft fuel.
✔️📘✏️GPU therefore is very useful very the aircraft are parked and have to be started and preventing noices.
✔️📘✏️GPU also helps to distribute all the electrical loads equally.
