This Privacy Policy explains how AME QUESTION PAPER (also known as "AME Question Paper and Books", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you visit www.amequestionpaper.in (the "Website"), buy our paid module material, attempt our mock tests, or contact us on WhatsApp or social media.

We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable. By using the Website or our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

In short: We collect only what we need to give you study material and run the Website. We do not sell your personal data. Payments are handled by Cashfree – we never see or store your card, UPI PIN or net-banking password. Your Gmail ID is used to give you Google Drive access to the material you bought.

1. Information we collect

a) Information you give us

Contacting us (WhatsApp, email, social media)Your name, phone number, email, and the content of your messages and any screenshots or files you send.
Uploading question papers / notes through our Google FormWhatever you enter in the form (such as name, email, module, exam session) and the files you upload.
Joining our WhatsApp discussion groupsYour phone number and display name, which will also be visible to other group members.
Sharing results or feedbackYour name, module, exam session, marks and feedback – only if you send these to us.
Posting commentsName, email and the comment text.

b) Information collected automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, device type, internet service provider, pages visited, date and time of visit, and referring / exit pages. This is collected by our hosting server and is used to run and secure the Website.
  • Cookies: small files stored on your browser to keep you logged in, remember preferences, count visitors, and understand how the Website is used (see Section 6).
  • Google Drive access activity: When we share material with your Gmail ID, Google Drive may show us which account opened the shared files and when. We use this only to protect the material and confirm that access is being used by the person who paid for it.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as your Aadhaar number, bank account details, card details, health information or biometric data. Please do not send such details to us.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account on the Website.
  • To verify your payment and give you access to the paid module material on Google Drive.
  • To renew, extend or remove Drive access as per our Terms and Conditions (for example, at the end of the access period).
  • To stop unauthorised sharing of paid material – for example, if a Gmail ID is found to be shared with other people, we may remove its access.
  • To provide mock tests and show your results.
  • To reply to your queries and give support on WhatsApp, email or social media.
  • To send you updates about exam sessions, new material, access renewal and other important information. You can ask us to stop non-essential messages at any time.
  • To publish student results and feedback on the Website – only with your consent.
  • To improve the Website, its content and our services.
  • To keep the Website safe and prevent fraud, spam or misuse.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

3. Who we share your information with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only in the following cases:

  • Service providers: Google (Google Drive, Google Sign-In, Google Forms and, where used, Google Analytics / Google ads), Cashfree Payments (payment processing), WhatsApp / Meta (catalog and chat), and our website hosting provider. These parties process data under their own privacy policies.
  • Legal reasons: When required by law, court order, or a government / law-enforcement authority, or to protect our rights, property or the safety of our users.
  • Business transfer: If the Website or business is transferred to another person, your data may be transferred as part of it, under the same protections described here.

Shared Drive folders: Google Drive may show the email IDs of people who have access to a shared folder. We try to limit this, but please be aware that it is part of how Google Drive sharing works.

4. How long we keep your information

  • Account data – for as long as your account is active, or until you ask us to delete it.
  • Purchase records (name, Gmail ID, WhatsApp number, payment details) – for as long as your Drive access is active, and after that for the period required under tax and accounting laws.
  • WhatsApp chats and support messages – for as long as needed to support you and resolve any dispute.
  • Log data – for a limited period, mainly for security and troubleshooting.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

5. How we protect your information

We use reasonable security practices to protect your data, including SSL (https) encryption on the Website, password-protected admin access, limited access to student data, and trusted third-party services for payments and file storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been misused, please contact us immediately.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies for:

  • Essential functions – login, security and keeping your session active.
  • Preferences – remembering your settings.
  • Statistics – visitor counting and understanding which pages are used.
  • Advertising – where ads are shown, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised Google ads at Google Ads Settings.

The Website contains links to Google Drive, WhatsApp, Cashfree, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), job portals and news sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites and apps. Please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
  • Ask us to correct, complete or update your data.
  • Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it for legal, tax or dispute reasons.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (this will not affect anything we did before withdrawal; however, if you withdraw consent for your Gmail ID, we will not be able to continue Drive access).
  • Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer (Section 11), and if not satisfied, approach the Data Protection Board of India.
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Children's privacy

Our services are meant for AME students and aviation professionals. If you are under 18 years of age, please use the Website and buy material only with the consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children without such consent, and we do not track or target advertising at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data without consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Please check this page regularly. Continued use of the Website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
