Job Purpose

• Carry out all aircraft maintenance work and maintain toolkits as per company standards

 

Roles and Responsibilities

• To carry out aircraft maintenance work as per company standards

• Job allocation of Sr. Technician / Technician

• Ensure all toolkits of the team are maintained as per company standards.

• Ensure all tools and materials drawn by the Technicians under his shift are returned to store at the end ofthe shift in a proper manner as per the company policy

• Coordinate with other departments such as Logistics, Cabin appearance, Ground services to achieve highstandards of cabin maintenance

• Ensure work area is free of debris/ tools after completion of job

• Ensure proper Shift Hand Over to the incoming shift

Team Management

• Guide, mentor and train the Junior staff

• Support, nurture and develop the team members’ skills

Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standaloneproject or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreedbetween the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Internal Interfaces

Engineering Teams • Responsible for carrying out analysis for all technical delays in coordination with MCCand Technical Services and maintain record. Take appropriate action for improvement

External Interfaces

DGCA Representatives • Coordinate with DGCA representatives over various regulatory requirements

 

G. Educational and Experience Requirements

Minimum Education requirements • 10+2 (PCM) or Equivalent

• Ab-Initio AME Training from a DGCA approved institution

• Must be holding DGCA (I) AME License having Type Rating / Company Authorization on two or morecategory of Company Aircraft

Experience Minimum Desired

• 4 years of Hands-on Cabin Maintenance Experience on Transport Category aircraft in a scheduled airline

• 3 years on Narrow Body (A320 Family) and/or on Wide Body (B777 & B787))
