Job Overview
The individual will be responsible for the performance of scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance. She/ he shall ensure assigned aircraft are supported and maintained in an airworthy condition.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist the AME in carrying out all scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance work
- Must have the required technical knowledge and carry out transit, layover and all higher checks in his capacity on company aircraft
- Track and report to superiors performed activities to prevent certification delays and impacts on operational schedules
- Responsible for all work carried out and certified by him on the aircraft under the scope of his authorization privilege and to ensure that all statutory regulations regarding airworthiness of the aircraft and company requirements are met
- Ensuring the on time dispatch of the aircraft without compromising on the safety and airworthiness.
- Maintaining and improving their knowledge in respect to the aircraft, its systems and equipment, the civil aviation requirement of India and company policy
- Assign tasks and coordinate technicians’ teams to ensure the smooth execution of maintenance operations in compliance with safety standards, regulations and internal policies
- To ensure all worksheets, inspection schedules, logbooks, maintenance records are properly completed
- Ensuring that he is aware of all company operating procedures and fully understand all quality and technical reporting systems
- Reporting all vehicle, ramp and aircraft unserviceability immediately to their designated Manager
- Maintain a personal logbook with details of all maintenance activity carried out by the individual
- Mandatory Occurrence Reporting.
- Be aware of and comply with his / her safety responsibilities and accountabilities as defined in Safety Management System Manual
Skills & Attributes
Excellent knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations
Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations DGCA CAR
Good Technical skills
Good communication skills
Work Experience
Minimum 4 years of practical Aircraft maintenance experience
For B1
Minimum 1-year experience in category B1.1 as applicable on any aircraft in Group 1 as per CAR 66.
For B2
Minimum 1-year experience in category B2 as applicable on any aircraft in Group 1 as per CAR 66.
Qualification
For B1
- Must have DGCA BAMEL/BAMEEC in HA and JE or DGCA modules, as applicable plus, DGCA Modules 4, 5 and 11 for category B1.1 DGCA license in category A1 preferred
- DGCA License in cat B1.1 in Group 1 aircraft as per CAR 66. Candidates with DGCA
For B2
- Must have DGCA BAMEL/BAMEEC in E, I and R or DGCA modules, as applicable & Current and valid RT License
- DGCA License in cat B2 in Group 1 aircraft as per CAR 66
